i think the concept of this book was good. it was pitched as happy death day meets scream, and while it did hold up in that aspect, i felt like it was one of those books where the concept was good but the execution was poor. i don’t know how to explain how i felt about the murderer reveal. you know when you’re reading a murder mystery, and the thought of one character crosses your mind and you’re like no, it can’t be them, and then it isn’t? that’s how this was, expect the random character who crossed my mind was actually the culprit (though it was easy to figure out, i figured it out pretty early into the book). despite how that wasn’t my favorite, it was a fun read, and the ending???? still reeling from it. i’d recommend it if you want something to read that’s quick and easy, but i wouldn’t recommend it if you were looking for a good thriller to read.
