Enjoyed it! Somewhat predictable but fun!
This is one of those fun, somewhat predictable books, like Happy Death Day meets Scream. Nothing that takes too much thinking but great to wind down and just enjoy. It kept me interested until the end. Alice Lawrence is a great lead character as the witness to her sister’s murder. Her life has understandably fallen apart since then, and on the first day of trial, she is knocked out and sent back to the day of her murder.
She has that day to try to save her sister, and in doing so has to try to solve where it all went wrong.
It is well written and a nice spin off of the typical Groundhog’s day type of style where they revisit the same day (present day)…this time she’s goes into the past to save her sister as opposed to herself. Alice is relatable as the nerdy girl who just wants her sister and life back. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fun and easy read.
