This one comes off like it might be a mix of Final Girls and A Good Girl's Guide To Murder. The MC, Alice, and Pip (AGGGTM) would definitely be a good pair! In high school and college I loved watching horror movies, and I think this would be a book I'd love.
The cover caught my attention. I've been in the mood for a fast paced YA thriller, and this was giving off AGGGTM/ One Of Us Is Lying vibes. With a little slasher movie thrown in. I think this would be a fun book for spooky season. I'm not big on horror reads, but being geared towards YA I think I would enjoy this one.
Like any good YA book, this one seems to have a quirky, fun group of friends. I'm interested to see where the characters take the story and how their relationships work out.
