"Lesbian witches" is enough to excite me, but the cheeky writing style and the whimsical world-building in the first chapter alone has me itching to read the finished copy. How to Succeed in Witchcraft reads and feels like classic YA, and it's why I still love the genre as an adult. Add in the amazing rep, and it's like Harry Potter doesn't even exist. TERF who? I only know my girl Shayna.
