I adored this first look. The magic school and system is really cool and I enjoyed the voice of the narrator. The author has set up a wonderful story for YA readers. I wish this book had been written when I was younger because it is tonally a bit younger than my current taste, but that does not impact my rating or desire to recommend this book to many. I think this has the potential to be many teens favourite book.
