High School is tough enough without involving magic.

I'm not sure this is exactly the book for me. I felt like it was trying to be Harry Potter at first. And that's a hard book to imitate. But I appreciate that the author also involves real life issues like racism and same sex relationships too. I think reading more of this book, would get me more interested.
