Literature insight to Loving v. Virginia

It's hard to believe that interracial marriage has been banned as recent as 1967 and I don't know much about the Loving v. Virginia which changed history. I enjoy reading literature that educates on true historic events in a way that makes it more interesting than reading Wikipedia.
