I feel this books says so much in just a short opening chapter. Our main character Biz, is a teen that just can't stop thinking. She is struggling with losing her father at a young age and I think she is also trying to find herself. She has little daydreams of her father visiting her. Biz is also navigating high school and is hearing from teachers about how important school and tests are now for her future. Biz also seems to be trying to figure out her sexuality. She kissed her best friend, to have it rejected and is more confused than ever about labeling her sexual orientation. I feel this is a classic coming of age story, which are a favorite of mine. The cover on this one grabbed me from the start. I will be watching for this book!
