This book was a very powerful look into a mind of a teenage girl with mental illness. The book was beautifully written: it was sad, it was emotional, but relatable. It was done in a beautiful prose, and a different writing style where Biz's mind just kind of rattles on.
There's not much of action, besides watching Biz unravel in her own mind, and have a total mental breakdown. While on this path, she finds friendship, love, and a deeper understanding of her own family.
This book should come with so many trigger warnings, as it was making me sad during most of the book. It didn't have any uplifting moments, besides Jasper, who was a light in Biz's dark dark world. But mostly it was depressing.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants a look into a mind with a mental illness. How different they see everything, how overwhelming it gets in their mind, how even though they want help it seems out of their reach.
