As a person who has been depressed their whole life, this book spoke to me. I felt like Biz the entire book. I never read anything quite so honest and real before. If you want to know how it feels in the mind of someone who has died by suicide or has attempted this is how you feel inside. I love her connection to her dad but also think it was holding her back. I like the way she explained how she felt in different moments and really struggled to find a way out. Many of us feel the same way. Like we are drowning and just need someone to pull us back down to earth. I wish the end was a little different but I really enjoyed How it feels to float. This book will stick with me for a long time. I hope Helen writes other novels in this same style. It was very easy to read.
