The main character, Biz, in How It Feels to Float has a lot of questions, but the preview tantalizingly provides no answers.
Biz is questioning her sexuality, her attraction to a new student, and the changing relationship with her best friend, Grace. She asks a lot of questions in her mind about the future after she leaves high school, the past when she sees and talks with her dead father, and the present when Grace is beginning to engage in sex with a boy that both girls had previously described as a dick.
Biz's mother tells Biz at one point "Answers are your friend", and I hope that Biz is able to find answers and peace.
