I’m really interested in this story! Amir comes out to this Muslim family in such a way that they end up in an airport interrogation room. But to explain how he got there, Amir has to go back to the beginning and it includes blackmail and more. I really enjoy Amir’s voice, his narrative is both humorous and heartbreaking. You feel for him and want to be his friend and you want things to work out for him. This is a book the world needs right now.
