How It All Blew Up seems to be an okay read. Truthfully speaking, however, LGBTQ novels are not my cup of tea. The storyline did manage to keep me engaged till the end of the excerpt. So, all is not lost.
The intriguing part of the story is as the title infers: "How It All Blew Up" where the family ends up in separate airport security interrogation rooms. You won't find out how until you read the full novel.
