"Based on true events"....is the thing that grabbed me. Then those first lines: "I'm not a terrorist. I'm gay." I knew from then on that I was going on a mental journey through controversial topics and hard pressing matters. A struggle of a young man forced to prove himself just because of his culture, his beliefs, his ethnicity. Just reading all that I have read so far I take away from this a book that is both challenging and important and worth the entire read.
