I have never actually listened to the podcast that accompanies this book, but thought it sounded interesting. As someone who is always interested in reading what is happening in the world of developing businesses, I really enjoyed reading this. In addition, it was nice to already know about some of these businesses and see them in everyday life. This book would be good for someone who is interested in learning more about entrepreneurship. Even as someone who will likely never become an entrepreneur, I liked this.
I liked that this book told anecdotes to tell the story of businesses. It seemed as though this book was trying to get across that no two businesses are the same, they did that really well throughout this book. Everyone's unique stories made this far more compelling and kept the book going. This book also did a good job of setting the mood. This book simultaneously has a very optimistic perspective on what running a business looked like while also including the challenges that many businesses faced. It was nice to see the author was able to keep the tone positive but also be realistic.
