Iris Hollow has always been strange. So have her two older sisters. Ever since their mysterious abduction when they were children, that left them with identical half-moon scars on their throats and white hair and a lack of memory of their lives before, weirdness has stuck to them. But when Iris's oldest sister Grey goes missing and Iris goes looking for her, she finds that the world is a whole lot weirder (and scarier) than she had ever imagined. Horned men chase her, strange flowers bloom in the darkness, and her sister has left a trail of oddities for her to follow...and it leads back to their disappearance from so long ago.

Darker than expected but not as scary as I'd been led to believe. I also felt like I had read this book before, even know I know that I hadn't. Weird, this sense of deja vu.

Anywho, very much like The Light Between Worlds with a heavy dose of British folklore thrown in. I just really, really felt like I have read this before!
