A dark, twisting, and eerily beautiful horror, thriller, fantasy, House of Hollow follows the three Hollow sisters, who fell off the face of the earth and then returned, unharmed, a month later. Now, 10 years later, the girls are grown and all but Iris, the youngest, are out and making their way in the world. Iris keeps her head down and lives in a quiet shadow under her glamorous sisters, until Grey, the eldest, disappears. The Hollow girls stick together, Vivi and Iris embark on a haunting journey to find their sister.

This book was beyond, in riotous imagery, and witty and terrifying and cuttingly sharp characters. Krystal Sutherland keeps you hooked until the end. I enjoyed especially the character of Tyler Yang, whose Stiles Stilinski-esque commentary interjected light moments. I adored Iris, Grey, and Vivi, who are all very much so sisters cut from the same cloth but are vivid and bright in their own different ways. Can't recommend this book enough!
