Ok, this one is hauntingly addictive! The first look is only 32 pages, but the author has written them in a way that makes the reader become lost in the story. Three sisters disappear on a family trip to Scotland, (we have no idea for how long), and when they return they have gone through some kind of supernatural metamorphosis. The book picks up years later, as they have all gone their separate ways. The way it's described almost reminds me of John Carpenter's Village of the Damned, had the kids grown up and left the town. I am definitely eager to read more of this book.
