When I received this book I just marvled at it, the cover is breathtaking and pulls you right into the story.
Can I just say even with the ups and downs, mystery and intrigue that wrap you up within the story I'd book my stay in a heartbeat.
From the first moment I started reading I was drawn into the world of The Hotel Magnifique, the absolute opposites between the opulence of the hotel and the struggle of the people around pulled you into the story and has you pickingbsides before you even know whats really going on.
Our main characters fascinated me, the things we'll do for family those were born into and those we choose never ceases to amaze me and this book is a perfect example of the heartbreaking decisions we have to make to protect the people we love most.
I won't give anything away with spoilers but I will say that the writing of this is masterful and engaging. The world building was perfection. The characters were well written and complex without it feeling like it went on too long.
