I definitely think this book's strongest point so far is the richness and depth of its imagery! Even before reaching the hotel the settings are all very vivid, but this is particularly true of the hotel itself which really adds to the mystery and allure surrounding it. I also really enjoyed Jani and Zosa's sister relationship, they clearly care about each other a ton. To be honest however the romance already established in this bit just isn't really my cup of tea--I might very well be proven wrong since this is just an excerpt, but it feels pretty predictable in its dynamic. Someone else might like it more though!
