The comparison to The Night Circus was what initially drew me in, but the mysteriousness of the prologue was equally compelling. Stories about sisters always grab my attention and this one was no different. Bel seemed very elusive from the get-go with his conflicting warnings, but I'm excited to see what happens when the conflict really picks up.
