I really enjoyed this book. He does an amazing job of really making you feel like you're going through everything he is throughout.
It makes you really think about what others are going through and want to put yourself in their shoes. You feel for the little boys that were put through so much and didn't even realize half of what they were going through. You just want to reach out and lend a hand to the teens who you can see going down a path of destruction. And then, you just want to hug Tony, as you see he's in so much pain fighting everything he's gone through.
It really is heartwarming to see the love Mikel has for his family and friends and how he was able to work with the hand he was dealt and become a better man out of all of it.
Can't say enough good things about this book. So we'll written and makes you wish for the best for everyone involved.
