I love a good horror novel and I admit I really like where this one is headed. A mixture of mystery and what feels like elements of a classic haunting. I was curious what was meant by a beloved classic and let's just say, if you get a chance to look up the song choked out by the doll Evie finds... it adds just one more notch of creepy AF to the building atmosphere Corpora is creating.

A divorce has forced Evie from the bustle of New York to the quaint town of Ravenglass, Massachusetts. New small town and dark secrets are prevalent. Evie is already promising with her love of handmade vintage clothes (I love crafty MCs) and I'm curious what more her brother, mother and possibly new found friends will bring to the narrative. I do hope there isn't an unnecessary love interest that overshadows the plot though. We shall see! This excerpt ended at the perfect teaser moment and I need to know more! I have my hunches too.

The cover is an absolute eyecatcher and you don't realize how perfectly fitting it is until you read the teaser. I'm looking forward to seeing where this novel leads (especially with what looks like a sequel on the horizon)!!
