This is a triple murder mystery that spans decades starting in the fifties. The first body of a young woman in a party dress is found in the road, with rain pouring down. No evidence. The sheriff wants to investigate but the State Police just decided that she was a party girl who had run away from her “john.” The second body is found in the same area, in a party dress, and dumped, in the 70’s. This time a Vietnam veteran found her body and is a suspect. Finally, the third body is found in the same area, same kind of condition, by the Viet Nam veteran who is now the sheriff of the area. In addition to trying to solve a murder mystery that spans decades, the sheriff is dealing with a town that may or may not want to fund his department and a wife with a new baby. Absolutely fascinating start! I really want to know who this murderer is and why these young girls are victims in such a small community. Great First View!
