I always enjoy stories with split timelines, which it looks like this one will have. Mysteries are my favorite genre, along with history, so when you have a book taking place in a few different decades you are sure to get a little of each. I've never read any others in this series, but the idea of a woman minister married to a police chief sounds like an interesting couple.
