As macabre as it sounds, I love a good murder mystery (I guess a lot of other people do too or it wouldn't sell books and tv shows as well as they do). I was drawn in by the multigenerational nature of this particular story and the way in which the town is forced to deal with a murderer over a span of about 70 years. With a time span that big, there has to be more to the story than one main murderer, and it is curious that the cases are connected. It is intriguing and exciting, and a story that I look forward to reading.
