In the pop culture world of crime investigations, three matching incidents in a row says serial killer. In Hid From Our Eyes, each incident is separated by approximately 20 years. The first two incidents were dismissed by state cops as party girls who died from exposure/misadventure, but the local police were never sure, though they didn't have the power to pursue a deeper investigation.
