The brief snippets of different timelines in Hid From Our Eyes hooked me! I'm so curious about not only the mysterious murders, but the various characters who have ties to the case over the years. This excerpt was so well-paced, and I'm curious to see what happens in the rest of the book. The cover, unfortunately, doesn't stand out to me and looks like a generic mystery/thriller book.
