I loved the story from the time I first read it. Bethany was a fun, sweet character to learn about. I really connected with how we learn about her being a late bloomer and the way she finds herself let down. The fake dating made sense for both characters and I liked that we got both POVs instead of being locked in only one character’s head. Jacob was so easy to like it made the story hard to put down. The pace moved smoothly and I didn’t find myself bored as I read. I also really liked Bethany’s friends as well. They all seemed to compliment her personality and I could easily see why they all gravitated towards each other. Overall, this was a solid read that I would definitely recommend other check out. It was sweet and definitely relatable. I was fans of both MCs and would love to keep reading about them and their friend group. It was such an easy read that I will probably read it again in the future. Definitely gonna keep an eye out for anything else from this author.
