TRIGGER WARNINGS: parental death, COVID-19, AIDS, generalized panic disorder, panic disorder, and racism. If any of these things upset you, maybe be a bit wary about this book. All of the warnings listed are very prevalent throughout the book. Take care of yourselves, bookworms!

This was such an adorable book that takes place in COVID-19 times. It was extremely relatable, and it really felt like all of the characters were real people. In fact, I was convinced that Arlo Oxley was a real celebrity, and was very disappointed to see otherwise when I looked him up 😂 Apparently, I'm really easy to fool.

Max and Jonah were both very likable and I enjoyed all of their scenes, whether it be together or apart. The anxiety representation was absolutely amazing and it never felt like it was romanticizing mental illnesses, which always feels like a breath of fresh air.

The ending felt so complete and it definitely ended right. There was one thing that happened that made me extremely mad at Jonah, but once there was backstory, he was back to being one of my favorite contemporary boys. All in all, I really liked this book! I look forward to reading more of both of the author's writing in the future!
