This is the story of two teens at the very beginning of quarantine. Both struggle with the sudden upheaval in their lives, but this struggle is also their bond. I loved Max and Jonah for their flaws and their spirit. Covid crept into their lives like an uninvited guest, destroying everything, but they found solace in one another. Through toilet paper shortages, food deliveries and health scares, this is a story that gives you the fundamental hope that love will conquer all. I loved how real the romance felt and how both teens had their own walls to hurdle. The side story. about the old actor had me WEEPING and I was hoping he'd leave the kids a bit of money, but a giant poodle would do any day. This pandemic hit a lot of people hard, and this book opened my eyes to what people have gone through and what people are still going through. Five stars all the way!
