I read this a while ago and I just found it to be an okay book. The story is based around the current pandemic which did add an element of sadness to it but not enough to make me cry.

I was expecting a book where these two lovers were so deeply in love but due to their current situation, they were not able to see each other. It would have had added much more tension and suspense to it. Instead, the two characters lacked so much chemistry that I cannot even remember a single thing they have in common. I wish the authors would have had developed their relationship as friends a little more and also the characters themselves.

By the halfway point, I was struggling to finish it since the plot was going nowhere and it was just boring in general. Unfortunately, as much as tried to like the characters and root for their relationship, it was just not it for me. I think if I were younger I would have had liked it a little more but right now it was just not as interesting.
