So I have to begin by saying I did not win the drawing for the free copy of this book, nor did I use my points. But the first look was so good that I had to finish reading it. Did I buy it? Nope, sorry publisher, I checked it out from the library. This book is adolescent romance and angst at it's finest. Two teens meet at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic and manage to fall in love from a distance, (6 feet and all, but still)! The author did an amazing job combining the John Hughes style rich kid, poor kid combination from the 80's, along with all of the sarcastic wit and overinflated vocabulary of the 90's. Both of the main characters had me laughing and commiserating over their conversations with others AND their constant inner monologues, and they were so relatable. I have to say that the character development was fantastic. I am not a teen by far, but this book had me wishing that I was. Amazing job, and to anyone that is reading this, please, give this book a chance.
