A very eerie experience reading about Covid on the page! I wasn’t a huge fan of this, especially since we’re still in a pandemic. I also wasn’t very fond of the characters. Jonah felt a bit pushy and overdone. I feel like this should’ve been addressed more, which is a shame because he is narrated by one of my favorite male narrators! I did enjoy reading about Max and Olivia, though.

The book also felt too short to achieve all it had set out to do. I really think this book would have been better suited to be published in the future rather than while we are still in the thick of things. The author’s writing style was okay. This book is also very drama heavy, which isn’t my favorite. The book does take on mental health, which I enjoyed.
