Though I don't often read contemporary fiction, I was intrigued by the description of this book because it seemed so relevant. I ended up really enjoying this sample. I liked the banter between Max and Jonah, it was interesting to relieve the beginnings of the pandemic through their eyes, and they have complicated situations that interest me. I want to read more.
