First, I have to say that I really appreciate the note on content warnings. This is a new trend I've been seeing and I think it's great, for YA and adult books alike. Though the promise of tough topics is there, the tone of this First Impression seems extremely hopeful. Reading this excerpt felt like a warm hug.
