Chase, the dukes nephew, meets Minerva when he breaks into her home, and she hits him over the head. He questions her innocence, as he conducts an inquiry into his uncles death.
Minerva and Chase both join together to find out what has happened to the duke, and how he might have known Minerva. The fight their attraction to each other as the find out more and more information about the duke.
I really enjoyed the this story. The characters were well written, and you could picture them clearly and could tell what they were feeling. This was a very well written story, and it jumped off the pages. I definitely am looking forward for to reading about the other books on this series.
