The opening scene gripped my attention from the very start. Minerva has quickly captured my heart and my interest. I love that the first thing we see is a strong and very capable women. Soon we find out that she has a past and now I’m an desperate to know more about this mysterious women with a past.
Chase has me intrigued. He was so certain that this women, who was suddenly gaining the large inheritance from his uncle, had to be involved somehow in his death. Once meeting her he is left intrigued and curious about her and no longer sure she was involved.
