This was such a fun book to read! It is a great escape from the world, at least for a few hours. I really loved the play between Minerva and Chase. Their relationship was quite amusing and had me laughing out loud a few times when Minerva got the better of Chase, though he got a few impertinent retorts in himself.
I enjoyed traveling with Minerva as she and Chase worked out who might have killed the Duke and why the Duke gave most of his fortune to three supposedly random women. We find out at the end why Minerva was chosen but there were still several unanswered questions that I am assuming are for the next books.
I highly enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books so I can find out who killed the Duke!
