I've always loved historical fiction and this novel is one that now matter if I win or lose, I will read it when it is released; plus the rest of the series as well. The cover is what first drew me to the book and the lady's dress reminds me of Belle's dress from Beauty and the Beast. For the story it is an interesting one for a historical romance novel where a Duke dies and leaves his fortune between three women. The story starts with one of the three with a gentleman, if I remember correctly either a son or nephew of the duke, investigates the reasons why the duke did it.
