Heiress for Hire starts with an intriguing beginning. One of the main characters, Minerva Hepplewhite, has just discovered that she has inherited a large sum of money—after she mistakes the bearer of news as an intruder and assaults him. She has a past of her own though. It would be interesting to see what happens.
While I thought the writing was good, in the beginning, it switches between characters so quickly it almost feels like head-hopping, and is a little confusing. But I think this is something a reader can get used to.
