While I enjoy the genre and was initially intrigued by the plot, I am one that admittedly has a short attention span and the book needs to feel/sound right from the very beginning. In this case, I was not pulled in. As I am also a mood reader though, there may be a time when my attention span allows me to push through. Who knows...
