It has an interesting storyline, but the setting was a bit boring. I found that I struggled to relate to the characters. The way it's written, it seems like it's getting ready for the story instead of dropping us right into it. I didn't feel like I had to continue reading. It didn't captivate me enough.
The cover doesn't really seem to fit the book, at least not yet. It is nice to look at, but for whatever reason it strikes me more as a good cover for a poetry book.
