This book did NOT disappoint! Susan Albers Psyd. is funny and relatable. She writes as if she is talking to a friend. As if the two of you are just having a conversation about the ups and downs on trying to eat mindfully. She teaches how to not just enjoy the food you are eating but doing it in a way that you benefit from the entire experience, from start to finish. Albers gives tips and walks you through the biology, psychology, and slip up point to our eating habits. She doesn't tell the reader what to do but gives them options of ways that may help their struggle. She talks about how easy it is to get hangry and that it not only effects our day but effects our entire life. Being hangry bleeds into our relationships, our mood, our work ethic etc.
Reading this book definitely opened my eyes and made me realize how easy it can be to fix things that we struggle with if we simple look at them in a different way.
