Susan Albers's Hanger Management is an interesting read, but isn't really anything revolutionary. She provides readers with 45 tips and tricks to improve their eating habits, and provide suggestions of what foods to eat and what foods to avoid. While I thought this would read a bit more like a dieting book, I was surprised to find that the tips were less about maintaining a specific diet, and more about behavioral adjustments a person can make.

I found the tip about cinnamon interesting, as I did not know that cinnamon is known for regulating blood sugar, and I'm surprised I haven't heard about that before. However, many of Albers's other tips were things I had heard before (such as using red plates when you eat or making sure to eat a healthy breakfast). This book is not a bad place to look if you're looking for more strategies, but it's not one of the better things I've read lately.
