Being hangry is nothing new to me and it's something that I catch myself doing constantly aka affecting other people with this. I blame not eating when I should to being tied up at work, not going grocery shopping when I should and planning my meals, etc. There always seems to be an excuse.

Reading the excerpt for this book really drew me in because I realized how real this issue was beyond a joke for loads of people... not just me. It all comes to making better choices and being intentional with preparation, all these suggestions leads to a balanced, happier lifestyle.

It also was really poignant about the type of anger I assert against people when I am hangry. How do I end up pushing other people's buttons when the problem has nothing to do with them and honestly, everything to do with me. There is self-healing and self-love in that statement -- it's not a blame game though it reads as such. I felt like this book dived into the deeper meanings behind how we treat the people around us, the emotions we feel when we deprive ourselves of our basic essential needs, and how to properly overcome those things.
