I am not sure if I am buying what the author is selling here. I agree that being hungry can bring out all sorts of irrational thought, but I am not sure if mindfulness is the right approach. The cover art is memorable, catching the eye with the superimposed angry face over an apple. Readers who like self-help books may be interested in what the author is saying, but Hanger Management is not right for me.
