Hanger Management claims to have techniques to help avoid the onset of "hanger," and its frequent accompaniment, "regretfull." The preview provided a series of examples of what hanger is, and when it can occur, but did not really reach into the purported purpose of the book. At this point, there's nothing new or helpful in the preview - make choices that you know will fill you up and prevent spikes in insulin during the day and you're less likely to become hangry or overeat to compensate. I'm interested in some of the physiological mechanisms that are alluded to in the preview, but I don't think they'll be covered in the level of detail that I am interested in.
