This book makes complete sense, and its layman's terminology makes it an easy read for anyone. Today's magazines, social media, book store shelves, and television talk shows - virtually all forms of information - are filled with various diet promotions and promises of health benefits. Author Susan Albers PsyD. categorizes ten food habit pitfalls that lead to HANGER (anger as well as hunger.) The books is well written, and if some readers are totally clueless about what is causing them to have more difficulties handling everyday aspects of life and human interaction than most people, this book could be a good reminder to think about food. Although I did not personally find any of this to be new information, I grew up in an area of the country where outdoor activities were a year-round lifestyle and bathing suits were de rigueur for a wardrobe. Book club members might enjoy discussing the 10 categories and whether or not food adjustments ever made a difference in their lives in way other than body size.
