I'm not sure how I feel I'd feel about this book. In one respect, I feel like I'd really enjoy hearing the in-depth stories of all of these people living in NYC during this timespan. On the other hand, would I really truly be able to appreciate the story not having lived in NYC or even knowing where Bank Street is?
